The disappearance of christmas

Today we made a story about Christmas.  We rolled a dice and had a piece of paper and we got random thing to use. 

The disappearance of wonderful Christmas

¨It worked dancer they're all back wait Santa those donuts are for the never mind.¨

¨Hey Santa i heard about that party tonight where I am going to dance all night¨said Dancer.

¨Hey Santa i´m going to be blasting into that party tonight¨ Said comet.

¨Buddy Santa want me to blitz all that fruit tonight¨said blitzen.

“After 2 hours of talking to all the reindeers it's finally time to head to my great gingerbread house.”

¨Surprise!¨ everyone shouts as Santa opens the door. Then Santa disappeared

into the abyss. Then all the reindeers disappeared as fast as light. Dancer reappeared however no one else did. A random reindeer walked out known as Mike he ran out of the forest followed by, a reindeer known as Jacob he had a little Penguin with him.

¨I have a mystery for you to solve if you fail poor santa and his reindeers won't take off tonight.¨

Then Jacob ran over to dancer and Mike  “what are you doing” “what i want” a machine appeared from then everyone ran towards it and knocked it over everyone appeared the penguin ran and everyone cheered.   

Everyone went back to the party.

¨It worked dancer they're all back wait santa those donuts are for the nevermind.¨

 

Christmas round the world

Monday 11th Today we read a story about the different Christmas different countries have. I learnt about the french leaving there shoes and how the gingerbread houses were originally from Norway.

Tuesday 12th We also learnt about the different food and how people put out carrots for Santa and stollen in Germany. In France they put out reveillon.

Wednesday 13th in Mexico for nine nights before Christmas all the children dress up for a party to remember Mary and Joseph  

Light house story

Once in a village there was a very tall lighthouse. The guardian was in his late 40s and working on some papers. He was distracted by the villagers at the local tavern.

¨Im working in here!¨ yelled the guardian of course no one heard him and they kept having fun. He got so furious he slammed his rusty wood framed window. Clank! Screech!

¨No was that the light did it blow a fuse.¨  The gears had stopped the guardian quickly ran up the stairs and picked up the light he had tripped over his tools and dropped the light.A massive ship was heading for the land. He ran as fast as he could downstairs and found all of the villagers with lanterns willing to help. The villagers made a circle round the outside of the lighthouse and stopped the ship.

¨Thank you everyone you have done me a massive favor.¨

Lighthouses

Today we read about lighthouses and how they worked and stuff like that.

The people living in the communicates were very worried. They hoped that there would never be a shipwreck.

In the 1850s the first lighthouses were found hazardous and very insufficient.

Mary Jane Bennett was the first NZ woman to actually run a light house.
